Tenemos los mismos personajes de la primera temporada, para esta ocasión incluyeron más desenlaces a los personajes secundarios que gracias a ellos nos distrajeron del bucle entre Joanne y Noah con el asunto de conversión al judaísmo que abarca nuevamente en los nuevos 10 episodios que tiene la segunda temporada. 

Conocemos un poco más a Noah dentro de una relación y que tiene un letrero andante de peligro para las relaciones en toda su frente. No escucha ni intenta conocer a Joanne- lo cual es triste porque nos dan a entender que llevan muchos meses juntos, ¿quizás seis? -, que sus necesidades son más importantes que las de ella y no duda en recordarle que renunció a ciertos intereses por ella. Mientras que Joanne, la pobre migajera, simplemente está aceptando el amor que cree merecer, a pesar de que su hermana es una de las que le señala todas las alertas de Noah :c

Ahora Morgan, ¿qué carajos pasó con el personaje de Morgan? Era mi personaje favorito de la primera temporada, esperaba más de ella pero nos entregaron a un personaje con baja autoestima que era manipulada por su terapeuta. ¿Por qué le hicieron eso a mi chica? No es un caso alejado de la realidad para algunas personas, pero no era algo que esperaba para ella. Afortunadamente ella logró darse cuenta de esta manipulación y pudo salir de la relación un tanto a tiempo. 

Morgan le insiste constantemente a Joanne en que su relación con Noah la está cambiando, y ese cambio no solo se refleja en su día a día, sino también en la dinámica entre ellas, al punto de hacer que Morgan se sienta sola/abandonada. Tal vez por eso decidió iniciar una relación con el terapeuta, además de los celos que le tenía a Joanne por estar feliz en una relación -tos, tos-. Adooooro que aunque Esther deteste a Morgan debido a Sasha, esta aún permita que Sasha mantenga una amistad con Morgan, lo cual termina siendo un gran apoyo para Morgan en sus momentos de soledad.

Ahora que menciono a Morgan y a Sasha...

Es inevitable no ver la química que existe entre estos dos personajes. Es algo superior y grita en que deben estar juntos, no debe ser plátonico. Además,  tendría todo el sentido que en la tercera temporada se unan, ya que encajaría perfectamente con las subtramas que cada uno ha venido desarrollando por su cuenta. Lo mejor es que ambos se apoyan mutuamente, reforzando aún más esa conexión. Los amooooo.

En conclusión, la tercera temporada de "Nobody Wants This" solo tendría sentido por el canon entre Morgan y Sasha. Joanne y Noah no son compatibles, y está claro que el amor no salvará una relación tan dispareja. Además, resulta demasiado evidente la ausencia de personajes de color en la serie.

Después de una segunda temporada que no logró justificar su existencia, la tercera solo valdrá la pena si se atreve a darle fuerza a lo que realmente nos interesa: Sasha y Morgan.

The same characters from the first season are back, and this time they’ve included more storylines for the supporting characters - which gives us a little break from Joanne and Noah's constant loop over the Judaism conversion issue, a topic that is constatly brought up in all 10 episodes for this second season, again. 

We get to see what Noah is really like in a relationship, and it turns out he’s a walking red flag. He doesn't listen to Joanne or even try to understand her- which is sad, considering they mention they've been together for months, maybe six? -. He also acts as if his needs matter more than hers, never hesitating to remind her of the sacrifices he's made for the relationship. Meanwhile, Joanne, the poor thing, is just accepting the love she thinks she deserves, even though her sister is constantly pointing out all of his red flags.

With Sasha and Esther, we explore their dynamic as a married couple. However, Morgan opens Esther's eyes to the fact that their marriage is hitting a hard time, so they start to working on it. Later, Sasha's mom sticks her nose into their relationship, making a controversial comment that leaves Esther quite upset.

Now, what the hell happen to Morgan's character? She was my favorite one from the first season. I was hoping she will be more fiercely this season but instead they wrote a character with low self esteem who was being manipulated by her therapist. Why did they do that to my girl? t’s not far from reality for some people, but it wasn't something that you expected for her. Thankfully, she managed to see through the manipulation and was able to get out of the relationship in time.

On another topic, Morgan constantly insists to Joanne that her relationship with Noah is changing her, and that change is reflected not only in her daily life but also in the dynamic between the two of them, to the point where Morgan feels lonely - perhaps, that's the reason why (Morgan) she starts a relationship with her therapist and also as a result of jelousy. 

I loooove that even though Esther dislikes Morgan (because she hangs out a lot with her husband), she still allowed him to keep their friendship going, which ends up being a huge emotional support for Morgan.

Since I've mentioned Morgan and Sasha...

Their chemistry is undeniable. It screams that they're meant to be together and shouldn't be just platonic. Plus, it would make total sense for them to end up together in season three, because their subplots are developing toward that. The best part is that they support each other, further enhancing that connection. I loooooove them.

In short, a third season of “Nobody Wants This” would only make sense because of the canon between Morgan and Sasha. Joanne and Noah aren’t compatible, and it’s clear that love won’t save a relationship so mismatched. Also, the lack of people of color in the series is very obvious. 

This second season failed to its existence. The third will only be worth watching if they focus on what we're really care: Sasha and Morgan.

Tu y yo sabemos que si regresamos a ver "Los Ilusionistas 3", es por las escenas de acción en las que aplican la magia y la ilusión. Aunque a veces parecen irreales, siempre nos muestran en el detrás de cámaras que todo fue realizado con auténticos trucos de magia, y que los actores tuvieron que coreografiar y practicar para lograr esas escenas. Además, nos encanta cómo siempre están un paso adelante con sus planes de robo porque cada uno tiene una gran mente y son magnificos. 

Obviamente fui tentada en verla por la bella y talentosa Olivia Cooke que interpreta a Cherry, la famosa novia. 

La serie explora una relación muy cercana entre una madre e hijo, un vínculo tan intenso que invita a hacer suposiciones. De repente el hijo conoce a Cherry, su relación más seria y la cual en su primera interacción con la madre deja una impresión desfavorable, despertando en ella ciertas sospechas; ¿Son celos? ¿O acaso percibió algo oculto? Es entonces cuando el espectador tiene dos perspectivas para interpretaciones abiertas. Tú eliges.

No voy a spoilear mucho sobre la serie para no dañartela, pero todo se trata de perspectivas y si confías en el narrador, al final del día creo que cada uno sacará su propia conclusión que siempre terminará en lo mismo. 

Hay uno o dos giros en la trama -  quizás más o ninguna :o -, y que los ricos solo son apariencia, siempre confirmado.

La música de fondo nada que ver, pero si prestas atención a la letra te spoilean. Por eso no recomiendo leer los subtítulos cuando traducen o narran la canción, ya que terminan arruinando un poco la narrativa.

I won’t spoil too much, but the whole story is about perception and whether you trust the narrator. In the end, everyone will draw their own conclusion—and somehow, they all circle back to the same place.

There are one or two plot twists - maybe more, maybe none :P - Also, it shows that millionaires thrive on pretending, and if you’re not part of their circle, they won’t even make the effort.

Eventualmente conocemos a Paul, el voluntario que entregará su vida a Sasha para que ella pueda saciar su hambre. Y sí, de cierta forma, entre ellos se inicia una amistad poco convencional.

Me gusta que nos presentan la idea de que al ser adolescentes se supone que no deben tener dificultades y que la vida es rosa para ellos o como les indican algunos adultos: o es blanco o es negro, así que no te quejes. Y que para algunos, no siempre es fácil relacionarse y encontrar su lugar en una sociedad que constantemente juzga hasta tu forma de respirar.A medida que va avanzando la película nos comparten fracciones de la vida de estos personajes donde terminas sintiendo empatía y cariño hacia ellos.

Destaco mucho las escenografía que junto con los personajes realza la narración visual de la historia. La banda sonora es perfecta para cada escena, y también se muestra que hay padres que realmente son felices siendo padres.

Eventually, we meet Paul, the volunteer who will give his life to Sasha so she can satiate her hunger. And yes, in a way, an unconventional friendship begins between them. 

I really like how the film explores the idea that, as teenagers, they're expected to have it easy - like life’s all sunshine and rainbows. Or, as some adults put it: it’s either black or white, so just shut up and deal with it. But for some people, especially teens,it’s not that simple. It’s hard to play along, connect with others, and find your place in a society that judges you for everything, even the way you walk. As the movie unfolds, we see fragments of these characters’ lives and the reasons behind their actions, and you start to develop genuine empathy and affection for them.

I’d love to highlight the set design that along  with the characters really elevates the visual storytelling. - which is beautiful. The soundtrack is perfect for each scene, and it also shows that there are parents who are truly happy being parents.
