Book Of The Week | Libro De La Semana

5:00

Hello Everyone!
My sister one day told me about this book she's reading, it was about a girl who has cancer and blah blah blah. She was like -Hey Daniela, read this book and I was like no, I don't like anything you like, it's so teenage! (As if I was an adult).

After months of forgetting that subject, I realized it would be great reading it, after all it was one of my new years resolutions. I asked my sister about this book, she said it was great, I just said to her "download it for me" and she did it.

It took me two days to read it.
Me tomo dos días leerlo.

So, you may wonder what book she recommended me, well, it's one of the bestseller of the year "The Fault In Our Stars."

The Fault In Our Stars, the story  it's about a sixteen-year-old cancer patient named Hazel, who is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she subsequently meets and falls in love with the seventeen-year-old Augustus Waters, an ex-basketball player and amputee.

In my opinion, I was so wrong about this book, results: 5/5. I'm in love with the story, is incredible and heartbreaking, but it worth to read it. I thank my sister for recommending this stupidly and captivating book,  simple and with so much love.

Spoiler Alert: I'm gonna share some sentences/dialogues of the book that really touch me. Also apologize about this, but I read the book in spanish duh!, and I'm going to translate it. I really don't know if the translation will go with the book, I'll do my best.

Sometimes people don't understand the promises they're making when they make them".

"I'm a grenade and at some point I'm going to blow up and I would like to minimize the casualties, okay?"

'-You do know how to shut me up, Hazel Grace.
'It's my privilege and my responsibility,' I answered."

- "Oh, no me importaría Hazel Gerace.
"Oh, I wouldn't mind Hazel Grace. It would be a privilege to have my heart broken by you." - Augustus

And if you don't know, recently the idea of a movie came out, and now the trailer it's here. So powerful as the book, but books are cool! Remember that.
